Stuff
Views of
the Earth from space have dramatically changed perspectives. We are
a small part of vast patterns. Yet the same elements found in the
stars are found in the human body. We are, as the poets say, quite
literally "star stuff." The more we understand earth and
space systems, the more we may come to know ourselves.
The emphasis in
Star Stuff activities is on collaborative investigations concerning
the interrelationships of earth/space systems, i.e., ways in which
the sun, the planets and satellites in our solar system and even deep
space influence life on Earth.
