CAVE Aps for Inquiry in Science

The invention of computerized automatic virtual environment (CAVE) technology has introduced a new tool with the potential to radically change methodologies used in research, design, engineering and education. With the advent of high speed networks, CAVE simulation software and collaborative tools, it is now possible to establish remote access to interactive virtual environments useful to K-12 students.

Students will collaborate with their peers and researchers at the Virginia Tech CAVE using an interactive virtual environment to investigate topics in biochemistry and physics.
