The Anuran Project

During the past decade, scientists from around the world have been documenting the disappearances of a number of frog and toad species.

Because anurans are considered to be indicator species, animals which may predict future incompatibilities between the human race and the environment, their population declines and extinctions have caused an alarm which is being heard around the world.
