Unit 5 Overview
Moisture in the atmosphere...we are all familiar with it. In this unit, we will take an in-depth look at water in the vapor state (humidity), and also in the liquid and solid states (precipitation).
The first sections deal with evaporation, the factors that affect vaporization rates, and what effects this has on our weather. We will then turn our attention to condensation and its effects on weather.
The final sections cover clouds and precipitation, including the processes involved in forming both.
